Submission Guidelines

  • Guidelines for Paper Submissions

Manuscript Requirements

Manuscripts submitted to RECOMB-CG should be original and not published or under consideration for publication elsewhere (including other journals or conferences with refereed proceedings). The Program Committee will conduct a thorough review of each submission. One of the authors must present the accepted paper at the conference. Accepted papers will be included in the Lecture Notes in Bioinformatics (LNBI) series published by Springer-Verlag, available at the conference. Manuscripts should adhere to the LNBI series guidelines, available at Springer's LNBI Series Guidelines. Authors can use LaTeX or Word templates for proceedings, with LaTeX templates also accessible via Overleaf. Inclusion of ORCIDs in manuscripts is recommended.

Length and Format

Papers should not exceed 15 pages (excluding references) in LNBI format, with an optional appendix for supplementary material. The appendix will be accessible to reviewers, but its consideration is at their discretion. Manuscripts must provide complete results independently of the supplementary material. Submissions must be made online through EasyChair at RECOMB-CG 2024 EasyChair Submission (Select Track: RECOMB-CG). Authors must register on the website before submitting. The deadline for submissions is midnight, Feb. 02, 2024 AoE.

Journal Publication

The RECOMB-CG proceedings will be published in LNBI. Selected papers may also be invited for publication (with fees) in a special issue of a peer review journal.

  • Guidelines for Poster Submissions

Abstract Requirements

We invite high-quality poster abstracts presenting novel computational or experimental results relevant to the conference's scope. Abstracts must be no more than 2 pages long, including references and figures, and formatted in PDF following LNBI guidelines (the same template as paper submissions). All submissions must be made online through the EasyChair system at RECOMB-CG 2024 Poster Submission.

Presentation Expectations

At least one author of each accepted poster is required to attend the conference and present their poster.
