Submitted manuscripts may not have not been published or be currently under consideration for publication in any other journal or conference with a refereed, archival proceedings. The Program Committee will rigorously review submitted manuscripts. Each accepted paper must be presented by one of the authors at the conference. Accepted papers will be published as a proceedings volume in the Lecture Notes in Bioinformatics (LNBI) series from Springer-Verlag. We aim for the online version to be available during the conference.

The authors of accepted papers will have the option of publishing in the proceedings for no fee under the subscription model, or pay for open access.

Submission templates (LaTeX and Word)

Authors should submit their manuscripts in PDF format according to the LNBI series guidelines: http://www.springer.com/us/computer-science/lncs/conference-proceedings-guidelines and use the proceedings templates, either for LaTeX or for Word. Springer’s proceedings LaTeX templates are also available in Overleaf. Authors are encouraged to include their ORCIDs in their manuscripts.

Page limit

Submissions must have a maximum of 15 pages, excluding references, with an optional clearly marked appendix of supplementary material.

In both cases, while appendices will be available to reviewers, consideration of supplementary material is at the discretion of the reviewers. The main text of the manuscripts should provide a complete account of the results presented.

Make sure to select the RECOMB-CG track, if not already applied by default. A standard PDF file must be received before midnight on the deadline (Anywhere on Earth, UTC-12) in order for a submission to be considered for publication.

Extended versions

Selected accepted contributions will be invited to submit an extended version to Journal of Computational Biology or PCI Mathematical and Computational Biology.
